Talked to Steve this morning. Online and
on the phone. Couldn’t really hear him half the time though. He talks so fast and it doesn’t help when we both
can’t stop laughing cause we’re just so happy to talk to one another. Big smiles in our voices as we talk over
one another to tell about everything we can. We only got 10 minutes. Oh well… I guess…
Today is my grandparents’ 45th
anniversary. I sent them a e-card. They thought it was cute. I took a shower and came out and they were talking to my dad.
For their anniversary today, we’re going to eat bad, play cards, go to the movies and eat bad, and then go out to eat
and come back home and play cards. It’s pretty much just gonna be a relaxing day. P and my brother are out getting food.
I’m here with N and reading and writing my entry. I’ve been reading fast and a lot the last week. I’m already
half way through my book. I sorta hope I don’t finish my book by this weekend. But at the same time, I kinda hope I
do so I can read the next one. I love vampire books. I would rather be finishing “The Vampire Lestat” but I’m
just more into my Anita Blake series instead. I’ll finish the second one some day. Some day far away. LMAO. I’m
gonna read after this entry is finished for the moment.
Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter. That’s
the name of the series. It’s by Laurell K. Hamilton. I love her books so far. I’m on book 3 of 13. I own the first
three. I want the complete series. She writes about two books a year. They’re small books. Great for traveling and fit
perfectly in my purse. I can’t wait to go to the book store this week. Think I’m gonna buy the next three books.
They’re SO good!!!
Okay so here’s a short summary on
it:
Anita Blake is an animator. She raises the
dead. Zombies. She doesn’t kill vampires any more cause it’s the law that vampires are people too. This is totally
weird but it’s true. The first book (“Guilty Pleasures”) was about vampire murders. Someone was going around
and killing vampires. You would think that they would have been doing a favor for the vampire hunters but because of the new
laws… it was a murder case. Anita is the “expert of the weird”. There’s a really hott vampire in the
book named “Jean-Claude”. Totally hott if you play your imagination right. You have to read the book… I
can’t tell more on the first or else it spoils the ending. Let’s just say though that the killer, along with another
unfortunate, get what they deserve. The second book is really creepy. People getting torn apart. Zombies on the loose. It’s
a great book (“Laughing Corpse”). The third book so far is really weird and is hard to put down. “Circus
of the Damned” is the name of the third one. Guilty Pleasures, Laughing Corpse, and Circus of the Damned are actually
made up places that Jean-Claude owns. This series takes place in Missouri, which is awesome cause it’s a state sorta
near me.
Anyways…
I’m gonna go back to reading.
I’ll write more when more happens…
I ate, played a game of cards with
N, and finished reading what I wanted to of my book. I try and set of a goal of reading 5 chapters at a time before my vacation
is over. Once school starts, I won’t have time. I really hope that someone drops out of my class that I need. I like
my schedule. I have a class with April because of it. I really hope someone drops out… please someone drop out…
only other time for that class is at night on Tuesdays and I have my art class on Tuesday nights… I don’t know
what I’m gonna do… I know that right now I’m gonna spend the next 40 minutes, before we leave for the movies,
reading… of course… (also someone called my cell an hour ago and
I don’t know who it was… hmmm…)
“The Decent” had a bad plot
but great blood and gore effects. Shoney’s had horrible food. And no one (important) has emailed me yet. I’m one
chapter away from finishing where I wanna be. I’ll probably read half the chapter tonight and read the rest tomorrow.
Then create a new goal to read to and read most or all of the chapters tomorrow. If that’s the case, then I need to
see if I can go to Hickory to go to the bookstore to get the
fourth book. I’m 20 chapters away from the end… little more than a hundred pages from the end… maybe just
a couple of days away from the end…
Watching “Angela’s Eyes”…
some show about a detective undercover at some high school… I don’t know what it’s about… It only
caught my eye cause Jake Epstein is guest starring on it… He plays Craig Manning on “Degrassi: The Next Generation”…
OMG… they killed him! They killed Jake Epstein! Oh well… I’ll just watch him on Degrassi when I get home…
I’m gonna get ready for bed…
get changed, brush my teeth, brush my hair and put it up, and find something decent to watch on TV or read.
