I woke up at 5:30am and was planning
on calling Steve but I fell back asleep. I woke up at 8:30am to my cell phone ringing. It was my dad. He wanted to know where
the netflix were. I told him and then lay awake for about a half hour. Went out on the porch and talked with everyone. We
played a game of cards. Then ate breakfast and lunch. While everyone relaxed some, I read a lot of my book. Almost done, too.
Then my brother wanted to play cards. We did. Now we’re just waiting for everyone to be ready to go to the store. We’re
going for just a little bit. Oh, Mother Nature finally came. Unfortunately, I can’t go swimming now. A waste of $10
so I could. I had to buy swim bottoms. Oh well! I suppose now I could just read and tan… maybe…
We played cards twice. I finished my book
(“Laughing Corpse”) and I’m going to read the next book (“Circus of the Damned”) tomorrow. I
wouldn’t be surprised if I finished the third book and needed to be taken to get the fourth and fifth. I read the first
chapter of the first book online on the author’s site. Liked it so I checked it out at the library. Read the first 10
chapters and decided I had to own it. Bought it. Read it. Then I bought the second and third book. I just finished the second
book. Now, I can read the third and when I’m done with the third, unless we’re out and about and I see the fourth
one in my hands, then I’ll buy the fourth and fifth when the third one is done.
I called Steve (again) when the oldies and
my brother left me here for about a half hour. He didn’t answer his cell again. It rang 4 times like it did the other
times I called… I don’t know why he isn’t answering his phone… I call at somewhat of a decent time.
Maybe I’ll get an explanation when I get back to the oldies’ house on Friday. If there is none, then I’ll
just worry. Maybe I’ll find out this weekend. If not, then I’ll just have to wait till I get home and try again
there. Hmmm… I don’t know what to do…
